Develop Internal Communications
Time Required: Set-up 2 weeks, then on-going
Location: Quito and Tena
Requirements: Familiarity with Kallari procedures; good command of Spanish
Notes:
- Currently there is a gap between communities and Kallari volunteers (who handle the business side). Additionally, communities do not have a real sense of belonging and loyalty to Kallari (per Catherines research).
- Goal Keep open communications with communities to create and maintain a group identity.
- What kind of marketing information can be given to the community to help them feel connected to the business side and how Kallari benefits them?
- Some new ideas:
Create simple flowchart product life cycle artisans create products, Kallari purchases products, etc
Explain how markets work
Develop workshops for directors, extension workers and communities.
Create position for Kichwa person to run regular workshops in communities
