Maria Maclovia Loja demonstrates spinning plaintain fibers to make a purse. The crochet purses she fashions are created by her from start to finish, beginning with the planting and harvesting of the plantain fiber and ending with the crocheting of the purse using traditional Kichwa artesanal techniques.
