| Franklin is from the Mirador community in Zona 1 and was one of first cocoa buyers at the Arajuno Bridge. He began working for Kallari full time in Quito in August of 2003 and continued to help for the establishment of the coffee shop. His first trip to the U.S. was in the fall of 2004. |
