Environmental Educator

Responsibilities/ Possible projects:

• Work with staff in Tena to develop environmental education program for primary schools, and workshops for adults in the communities
  
• Collect/ create materials in Spanish to suit both audiences
  
• Help in recruiting local educator and work with them to deliver courses
  
• Design annual schedule for visiting all communities

• Min time: 3 months
  
• Qualifications and/or experience teaching; knowledge of and experience in environmental studies
  
• Cultural sensitivity
  
• Good fluent Spanish
  
• Adaptability
  
• Willingness to spend extended periods in communities
  
• Creativity
  
• Good organisational skills
